EPs are the way forward!

Long story short: I don’t think releasing an album right now is the best thing for me to do. Even if me and Jim get the rest of the tracks totally nailed, I think it would end up as a fairly random collection of songs rather than a coherant album. Instead, I want to use the tracks we have to make a number of EPs where all the songs fit together properly. And we could release the first one really soon.

Here’s what I reckon I plan to do next:
1. Sort the album tracks into lists of songs that make sense together (I’m aiming for at least 4 songs on each EP)
2. Pick whichever list has the most songs on it that are finished
3. Finish recording & mixing those songs
4. Get the EP mastered
5. Release the EP through a digital distributor (to get it on iTunes, Spotify, 7digital etc)
